Faisal has written for a wide variety of forces — from intimate art songs and solo piano works to string quartets and full orchestral pieces — and continues to explore the nuances of writing for both large and small ensembles. In 2025, he worked with the Claudio Santoro National Orchestra in Brasília, Brazil, as part of the Brazilian Orchestral Summit — a cross-cultural initiative highlighting emerging voices in contemporary music.
